My Take:
I found this at a local Indian grocer, alongside numerous other natural facial products by Hesh. It was $1.79, so I thought I'd give it a try, rather skeptical it would result in anything; I've used their Lemon Peel Powder previously, but wasn't to fond of the scent, really. ANYWAY, I gave this a go and on the first trial, I felt my face was immediately softer and brighter. But from past experience, any new product I come in contact with does this. So I decided to keep going with it.
As of now, it's been a week or so using this stuff and I LOVE it! I've received compliments and questions as to what I was using on my skin (shhhh!) and I'm definitely using this in the future.
How/When I Used It: I've been using this everyday for about a week so far, but I would suggest slowing it down after a while just to be safe. On some days I use it before showering, on others, before bed. I'd go with before bed.
And all I do is mix the powder with plain water and apply it to my face as a somewhat thick paste. I let it sit for 15-20 minutes, walking around the house like a monster (it really isn't attractive when it dries), and wash/scrape it off gently, using cold water. Then, I just put a tiny amount of moisturizer/turmeric cream on my face and that's it!
Recommended For: oily/combo skin; acne prone; lightening
