Title: A Good Indian Wife

Author: Anne Cherian

Pages: 302 (hardcover)

What I Thought:    Hmm….it was good, I guess. Touching (sort of) and fast-paced (perhaps too much so). But honestly, it’s another one of those “cultural identity” books where an NRI’s trying to find his roots again, and I wasn’t too affected by Cherian’s plot. In addition, there’s another cliché topic, which happens to be arranged marriages.  I got through the book fast and didn’t quite get that “aww” feeling at the end if it.
